We took the ferry to Dover mid July and were asked at immigration if we had filled in the online contact form. When I offered the printed versions he waved us off saying 'That's alright, most people ask "What form?"" Then we flew into Carcassonne two weeks ago, less than 30 people queuing at immigration. I offered the two forms I had been told to fill in and they were waved away by the immigration officer.

Sorry, but if you have 39°C fever, you should call your G.P. for a home visit, or the 15 if he/she is unavailable. Stay at home and do not go to the labo for your test off your own bat. Fingers crossed that your fever is caused by something else....
Courage!

dmu is right. You shouldn't be going out and about with a high fever, it's not sensible.
Look after yourself, clothmama.

(I would still consult your G.P. for a check-up and a blood test (leucocytes) - you did have a high fever, after all....)

Thanks DMU, I have diverticulitis which has been playing up so I'm pretty sure it is that. I do need to go and see her though as it has been ages. I'm such a typical nurse / midwife and hate going to the doctor
