Hi can any give me an idea on cost of living in France? I might be relocating to Antibes or surrounding area. I know the housing is very expensive there, but i was wondering more on the things like,

Gas, Elec
Food (for a couple)

that sort of thing.

any help would be great

I would consider food on par with England or becoming that way other than ready meals which round here you cant get, A good thing. The equivalent of council tax is cheap in the country electric is cheaper, Nuclear does pay for the consumer. Customer service in this area forget about it. Gas keeps going up and so does petrol. Petrol is 1.42 in out area a litre so with the exchange rate the way it is 2 pence more than in England i think.
