Default Choosing the right Notaire

When you're buying a property, don't forget that is the buyer's privilage to choose the Notaire.

Most agents will politely pressure you into using the Vendor's Notaire but this isn't always going to be the best move.

See if you can get personal reccomendations from someone you know. There are after all, good Notaires and bad Notaires.

I live near the town of Pezenas and can reccomend Maitre RASIGADE in Pezenas and Maitre BANCAL nearby in Roujan. I've used both and had very good experiences. I always reccomend my Clients use one of them.

And don't be put off by geography either. Maitre BANCAL told me last week that he's on a plane or a train at least once a week to oversea the signing of a contract somewhere in France.

Simon.
