SCI's/Land buying
We are trying to buy two adjacent piece's of land in Provence. They are currently owned by separate family members. We are told if we buy them together we cannot build two houses even by putting them in individual names. They only way around this is to buy one in an 'SCI'. Does anyone know of this rule and or know of the cost involved in setting up an SCI and the ongoing benefits/problems of running it.
