Talking to a pal of mine today who has discovered a new company selling VPN's amongst other items. Never seen a company that sells VPN's for so many different countries, from Poland to Portugal to Switzerland, they are all there, including the UK for the iplayer: http://digitalworldplus.com/store/
I'm going to give this company a go when my account with my present supplier has expired.

And when compared with an earlier post of yours were you said what current vpn supplier you were using. I would like to point out that a Whois and PrivacyProtect search reveals that both domains are owned by the same person sunning it up in Tenerife
I use the British Online Tv Access Account from here https://www.pc-streaming.com/store/. It really is good and gains access to everything available BBC, iplayer, ITV, ITV Player, CH4 On-Demand etc.
They have also just introduced an Ireland package for all those Irish ex-pats missing RTE.

A VPN solution works reliably and gets BBC, ITV, C4, Sky, TVCatchUp in the UK and also Hulu, ABC, Fox, ABC, etc in the US. I set up clients with home theatre and occasionally shop around for the best deals. Currently UKiVPN.com is the best VPN and has been for a while.

Hi guys,
After trials and tribulations of proxy servers and a whole series of internet sites that make wondeful promises of providing FREE british TV thay one must PAY FOR, I've given up and gone for a Freeview Satellite Box (Bush HD).
And, what do I discover? - The BBC iPlayer is included under the "red button" option.
Great, I thought, I'm gonna be able to watch all the British channels thanks to my satellite dish AND catch up on stuff I've missed ......... but it doesn't work!
I can get to the player, and even browse the different indexes, but as soon as I launch a programme, nothing happens.
Does anybody think (KaOra, I'm lookin' at you!) that it's because the box connects to iPlayer via the ADSL connection and it's not letting me connect because my IP is not UK located?
I've googled this problem every way I can think and nothing comes up.

The only reliable way I have found to access the iPlayer is via Onspeed
OK it's not free, you have to pay annually, but it works all day every day, end of story.
Or you could change ISP to AS24Telecom
