Hello all, it's been about a year since my last post however we are now back on course.
My wife and I are starting to look for a property in or around the Josselin area and were wondering if anyone can offer some advice i.e. Are there many Brits in the area, nearby facilities hospitals etc or generally what's the area like, I'm earliest 60's, my wife is late 50's...any help will be much appreciated

Welcome back Don
You said in a previous post that your OH didn't do well in the damp.
Well it doesn't do more damp in Morbihan than at the moment.
If you check out the Josselin website then you will find current (pun not intended) links about flooding.
They are having about as bad a time in Morbihan as in Somerset.

First piece of advice - buy a pair of wellies (each)

I've only visited Josselin as a tourist, seems a nice place but no idea how many Brits live there.
Just an update since your last visit -the UK has announced that it's going to stop funding the healthcare of early retirees who move to other EU countries, so that might be something else to account for in your plans.

I lived in Comblessac, near Guer, for 10 years, leaving in 2004. It's a very nice peaceful area and when I left there were more and more Brits moving in. Josselin has 2 really good supermarkets and a good shopping area down the hill. The Queen Mother used to holiday in the castle.
