Default pay for taking out garbage?

i have heard that there is 150 pounds per month in order to be able to take out the trash in the uk.
is this true?

In a word ..... no.
You pay a local authority tax for your home which includes rubbish removal and other things like schooling, lighting, fire authority etc. Our Uk place is about £800 a year
