Default Belgium/Brussels

Hi,

Long time lurker, recently signed up and now first time poster

I've always wanted to live and work in another country and become fluent in another language.

My best language is French due to the many many holidays I've taken there and I've been to Belgium a couple of times.

The reason Belgium appeals to me is Brussels has a couple of large organisations in the industry I work in (the card industry, namely MasterCard and Ogone) and that it's economy isn't going down the drain a la France. I'm also quite keen on the beer and the racetracks

I have the following questions:

How different in temperament are the Francophone Belgians to the French? I ask because I was very good friends with some French students at university and while they could be very nice people at times they could also be somewhat temperamental and sarcastic.

Also, what is the workplace culture like compared to the UK?
