Austria Road Tolls

Austria Road Tolls
I yesterday arrived in Hungary after driving from UK. Before leaving Germany I made sure I had my vignette for Austria. Having paid for that I was thus somewhat gobsmacked to then be charged a further toll at 2 toll booths on the Linz to Graz road. I thought the vignette was instead of toll charges?

There are a number of additional toll roads here but it still a lot cheaper than in france............................

U can believe/buy into any other B.S. ;
Austria , on the whole , is usually a rip-off place ;
then again , the neighbouring SLOvenia , CRoatia etc are all into the same game , possibly : worse , even ( except for the shopping ? which still is better in Austria ....for most stufff , anyway ) ;
there ARE other continents , which also function and where one can manage , being ripped-off less , U know ?
