Dear all
Well, after 6 hours of solid research on becoming an electrician in Oz, my brain is officially short circuited.
As soon as I think I have worked out what order things need doing, I discover a new new abbreviation like IELTS, or name like Vetassess.
Could someone direct me to, or let me know what all these abbreviations mean, and the order in which I will need to conquer each step.
What has really confused me is that the TRA and ARTC seem to be the same thing
, and does Vetassess do away with both of them? Why do they have these differant licences when it seems they are all worthless except for General Electrician "A" grade. AAAARGGH, there goes my brain again.
I started my research a few months ago but gave up soon after and thought that Oz wasn't worth the effort. Weather got colder so started research again today but, alas, confusion reigns. There is a lot of info on this site which I have read but I just need it watered down and filtered.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, MrF
