Default TRA - General Electrician

Hi all,

My son received his assessment from the TRA today and it assess's him as a General Electrician, can he now apply to the TRA to do his ARTC before he lands in OZ, if successful with his ARTC then go on to SA to get his Electricians License. Although he is starting his visa application as a skilled migrant, he is considering coming over on a working holiday visa and thought this would help him find a job

Many thanks.

Lisa

He will need to send a copy of his visa with the ARTC application, so he can't apply until he has one of them. Because the ARTC is only for Australian Residents he will also need to supply them with an Australian address - this doesn't have to be his address though

Thanks Wendy, much appreciated, hubby has a cousin and two aunts who live in Sydney so an address wouldn't be a problem.
