Question Recognition of prior learning - WA

Anyone applied for this?

Just wondered what is involved, I've printed all the info off but it's not clear is this is some form of exam type thing OR is it like TRA where you have to right paragraphs of bollocks to confirm you know your stuff?

I have been round in circles with this one.

Depends what you do.

My hubbie is transport refrigeration engineer with no qualifications but been doing it 10 years.
I have been told that the only way in Perth to do this is by applying for an apprenticeship - which your boss has to do - and then the Recognised Training Officer will come to the company and go through your apprenticeship. It is at this stage that if you prove you are capable you may be able to reduce your 4 year apprenticeship to 18 months!!!!
