Open cablers licences??

Open cablers licences??
Hi guys,
Just looking through seek.com at jobs available and came across a job description for a full time qualified electrician.............. and must have a Drivers licence(obvious) and open cablers licence.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what an open cablers licence is.

depends on which state your going to but some genereal info here

So do most sparkies have loads of different licences or is it a case of just getting specialists in for data/telecom connections.

Oz love their licences. Some places wont employ you without it. Its easy to get. 5 days at a training centre. Around $800 i think. My company paid for mine.
