Just posting a new update as future users might find it helpful. I received this piece of information from TRA after sending an enquiry letter:

You are not required to resubmit all of the documents you provided to TRA for your migration skills assessment, however you should check TRA’s website as additional documents are required for an ARTC skills assessment.


So basically, you don't need to resubmit the stuff you did for your skills assessment for immigration purposes, but you just need to add anything which was missing at the time.

Thanks I was just about to have all my certs that were submitted with the initial migration application certified as true copies for my ARTC application. Also was going to pay the $300 dollar application fee just in case they needed it, things are looking up!!!

Yes. we also have translations, so in the end the whole thing would have cost us something like 600 (if not more) dollars.... :S
