Does anyone know the Australian equivalent to a HNC?

Are HNC's a recognised qualification over there or is there a chance I'd need to go back to night school when I'm over there.

HNC is equivalent to a diploma.

I had mine checked for equivalency when I arrived.

Who checked it for you? Did any of your employers request this?

Migrant services here in Adelaide did mine but no employer confirmed it - they were happy that I knew the equivalency
