Hi Easter,

I have had long conversations with Vetassess about the way they have handled our failure. To which they have now acknowledged that things could have been done differently to save us some worry and stress. We have decided to wait until the February practicals and will be sitting ours on the
16th which is a Monday. We live south of London so couldn't really afford to travel all that way and didn't have the holiday available for the number of days this trip would involve.

They basically said that as they hadn't heard from us regarding preference to location that they had put us on the Blackburn one despite me emailing an actual person at Vetassess at the end of August with our retake form and location preference.

I am quite dis-heartened by this whole episode but Australia is a dream and in order to get there this is what we've got to do. So we plod on until February and hopefully get a pass this time.

Good luck for your october practical. Let me know how it goes and any feedback you can give that may assist us would be appreciated.

Dazza.
Sorry to hear whats happened to you mate thats W---. Ive always wondered why you have to go through all the hassle to get detailed references show them your qualifications to then pay a fortune to do a test on what your JIB card says you can do for them to fail you over petty things, wots point!!!!.
Am now even more stressed as ive got mine in Oct and cant remb dol motors and all those cals. How detailed are the questions?? ive asked on here but aint really got a reply with how detailed the exam is. Good luck pal.

Hi am new to this site and would some info on the Vettassess test in Acrington in Feb as my OT has just failed his TRA for electrician special class and they have stated he is more a general electrician, not really the case but our agent has told him to take the test. He qualified 20 years ago and specialised for npower so is unsure what the test would involve, plus its not cheap
