- sorry for this post under Cyprus (I haven't found a greece section)
- going (finally) for 1 week holiday to Mikonos & would like to stay close to Mikonos village

Does anybody know any good place to stay? (apartment or residence - some good quality / price combination?)

Anyway...I stayed in Residence La Matina - good combination price & quality.

100 euro for a double bedroom in cozy residence just above Mikonos town

Note: prices for houses / scooters supermarkets and low compared to other holiday places...but drinks are crazy! 16 euro for a Mojito not even well done!

If on holiday you enjoy drinks...take care of Mikonos crazy prices!

When you get of the boat there are normally folk there waiting for tourists to arrive and will have rooms available,there is plenty of accommodation there I don't think your going to have any problems at all.

I have not been for a few years went with a an ex only to find out the Island is predominantly gay, you do realise that right!!
I could not care less but be prepared it gets very steamy at night and anything goes

Actually it's true! Lot of gays in the Islands. But let me tell you: I have never seen a place where it's so easy to be succesfull with girls!!!

Maybe because of few guys that appreciate girls?
