YMV Tier 5 - Entering the UK with my British Partner
Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of applying for a youth mobility visa from Australia, to enter the UK late this year. I have begun the application online, and came across the question about relationship status, to which I answered that I am married to my partner, whom I have been with for 10 years now. Later on the application has asked about my partner's details, and he is a full British Citizen, so I provided that information, including his passport number and all. I also put information that my partner is not my dependent, which he won't be, as we both would be working like we do in Australia today, but we do have a joint bank account where we both contribute to with a good amount of savings to support ourselves for a bit more than a year if we could not find work. I think we will be fine with work as I work in allied health and am registered with the relevant regulating body in the UK, which enables me to practice, and my work is in very high demand atm and is in the shortage skills list. My partner's job prospects are also looking good. Then they asked about information about his family in the UK, which we also provided, but provided details in the application that we were not staying with his family.
Anyway, this has made me a bit worried, as I am scared that my application might be denied, or that if granted, I might be denied entry on arrival, as my partner is British. I obviously want to experience working and living in the UK, which is what the YMV T 5 is for, so not sure if anyone has gone through the same process, or am I just being paranoid?
Also, this question: Will you be travelling to the UK with someone who is not your partner, spouse, or dependant?
I answered 'No' to it as I won't be travelling with someone else who isn't my partner, but it sounds a bit tricky, as the questions seems to suggest that partner's and spouses are dependents?
Thank you all for your answers.

You should not read anything into the questions and your answers.
YOU are applying for the visa and it's your eligibility which will be taken into account.
Several people on this forum have gone through a similar route when not wanting to go the spouse route.
