I'm currently thinking about moving back to the UK after 5 years. I married my wife, who is American, 2 years ago and trying to find out how she can come with me. I've been offered a job and should be able to apply for a Family Visa based off the salary, which I think is the correct way to go. Obviously, we would like my wife to be able to get a job as soon as possible, but cannot find anything about work entitlement on the family visa. Is she entitled to find a job immediately? If not, how many months before she can?

If you wife has a Family of a Settled Person visa (commonly called a spouse visa), then she can work immediately on arrival in the UK. She will need to apply for a National Insurance number.
