We got the settlement spouse Visa! Leaving Tokyo 17th of April!
Thank you everyone for your support! We applied through the 'priority' service here in Tokyo and got the visa. Feeling excited and sad as saying goodbye to all our friends here is rather heartbreaking.
We fly out on the 17th! Hubby is over the moon and feels like he has a chance at a new life!
Just wanted to let the lovely folk on here know!

Thank you everyone! Heading up north for a few months then looking round for jobs etc! Hubby is going to start his own business...well that's the idea anyway!
Will be so nice and rather surreal to be spending time with family. The kids haven't had the grandparent experience yet!

Congratulations on the visa and good luck with the move! Hopefully we'll be in the same boat in a couple of months, we're just jumping through the necessary hoops now 
I saw on a previous post of yours that your husband did an embassy approved english exam, so was wondering if his settlement visa has the endorsement KOL req.? Assuming he intends to get ILR that is!
