Hi, I want to transfer money from UK to the US.
http://www.ukforex.co.uk seems to do a great deal. Has anyone used them before and are they legit?
Thanks

Yes, people have.
You'll find loads of threads on the subject, plenty of other currency exchanges recommended too.

UKForex offers excellent exchange rates and there are no fees for a transaction over £3,000. This results in large savings.
UKForex is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FRN: 521566) for the provision of payment services.
Finally, In the United Kingdom under the Money Laundering Regulations 2007, commercial foreign exchange companies are treated as "Money Service Businesses" which are covered by regulations administered by HM Revenue & Customs.
UKForex Limited holds a certificate of registration for Money Laundering Regulation (MLR). Registration number: 12219180.
We look forward to helping you with your transfer.
Regards
Kurt

Re: UKForex
Thaks Kurt but your need to come on a forum site as a company to justify you are the real deal makes me doubt the company even more.
I was just trying to talk to real people that had used the site.
This scares me a little that someone from the company would even come on here! Like you are trying to back up a scam!

Re: UKForex
Hi there,
UKForex is a partner on the site and provide market updates etc: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=179to help potential clients.
The purpose of my response was to reassure you that we are regulated by the relevant authorities and therefore, a legitimate company. I'm sorry that my response did not do so.

Re: UKForex
I've used UKForex a number of times, always very fast to get the money transferred.
I won't use anyone else.
