Post Uk Spouse Visa, should I get a Lawyer??

Hi, all.

Me and my Wife are currently living in New Zealand, however our visas expire at the end of January and I'll be trying to move to the UK with her, I am a British Citizen and she is Russian.

I believe we meet all the requirements in regards to finances etc. however I don't want to make any mistakes with the application. Does anyone recommend a Law firm in particular that has helped them out in the past.

Thanks,

Callum

You’ve left it rather late if you want to apply from New Zealand. What type of visas do you currently hold?

It's OK we have come to terms that we are unfortunately going to have to go our separate ways for a couple of months and as far as I am a where she has to make the application from Russia. We are both on Essential Skills Visa's

How do you intend on meeting the financial requirements?

As long as your wife submits her application from Russia and you return to the UK before your visa expires you’ll be fine. There are some excellent immigration advisors and a lot of clowns as well. I’d recommend you attempt the application yourselves and seek the advice of this forum if you get stuck.
