UK Spouse Visa Pay Requirement
Hi all! Sorry to as such a trifling question, but I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me.
I went to university as a mature student at which point I met my fiancé who is in the U.K. On a 2 year young person's visa until December 2017.
I've been working since august last year, earning over £18,600 per year with pay slips to prove this, but I would really like to look for a new job and get into it asap...
Would this hinder the visa application process as long as I'm still earning over £18,600?
We are getting married on the 2nd of June and applying for the visa immediately afterwards.
Thanks for your help!
Rich

Re: UK Spouse Visa Pay Requirement
Yes it would hinder any application you make.
You have only been working since August 2016. Marrying in June 2017.
If you stay in your current job, when you apply in mid June you will be able to apply under Cat A - in job for more than 6 months.
If you leave your current job, say, in March 2017 and then get another one, when you apply in mid June you won't have been in the new job for 6 months so cannot apply under Cat A and neither will you be able to apply under Cat B (showing current job earning 18,600 and above, and 12 months of payslips showing you also earned that for previous 12 months) because you will not have worked for 12 months in total - having only started work in August 2016.
Stay in your current job or don't apply for visa until you have 12 months of payslips under your belt.
