Hi guys, I am hoping to apply for a family permit soon and wonder if someone with knowledge or experience could comment on my chances getting a family permit. My personal circumstances are that I'm British citizen and was living in Japan for 4 years. I got married at the end to a Japanese lady. We both decided to move to Ireland, as I found living in japan pretty difficult. I came to Ireland first, to secure a job and accommodation and my wife came over about 2 months later once I had everything set up. So I've been here about 9 months and my wife is just about to receive her full Irish residency card. We're quite happy here, however, my parents back in the uk are very elderly and I feel the need to get myself back there if I can. I'd really like to make an application for my wife soon as I can. Thanks for any input.
