Romein Ruling for South Africans
Hello I wonder if you can help me. My sister, my brother and I were born in South Africa in May 1955, December 1958 and November 1962 respectively. I have been told that I might qualify for British citizenship based on the Romein ruling (March 2018), but this would not apply to either of my older siblings. Can you explain why not? It seems very strange to us.
Our maternal grandparents were born in the UK, married and our mother was born in South Africa. Our father was also South African.
Many thanks for your time
