Heya, hoping someone can provide some clarity. My partner and I will be applying for his spousal visa later on in the year. I'm currently in the middle of my job search in the UK and I've got pretty far with an offer that is for a 12 month fixed term contract. However, I'm hesitant to accept the offer as I'm weary that it may impact the visa application - as far the income requirement is concerned (i.e. the sponsor - me - working for over 6 months in a role that earns over the 18k annual salary threshold).

I guess, in a nutshell, I'd like to know if it's advisable to accept only permanent roles as opposed to FTC roles.
