Default Flr application

I submitted an application as a mother of a Uk child.I have made subsequent application before my child turned British but was refused on the fact that my child wasn't ten at the time of my application. So I made a fresh application immediately my child turned British and I got a letter some days ago asking for me to send my passport.Does any one have an idea why they need my passport? It a good sign or should I be worried?

Has your child actually been registered as a British citizen? Presumably you are currently in the UK; what visa do you hold currently?

I’m confused as to why you think you didn’t need to submit your passport. Which passport do you hold? How long have you overstayed for?

Top tip - if BritinParis asks questions, there are reasons for them, so it would be a good idea to answer those questions to get his very excellent advice.

HTH.

I see that. BritinParis is our resident immigration guru, and will be very happy to help you I'm sure. But if he's asked you which passport you hold and how long you've overstayed for, then you can bet there's a very good reason for those questions!

Good luck.
