Entry process at Heathrow
Hi,
I'm looking for some info on the entry process in Heathrow for my US husband moving over on a spouse visa.
I remember when I came to the US on my spouse visa they made me sit in a room and go through paperwork etc before they let me out of the airport. Is it the same in Heathrow or does he just go through the normal passport control and just flash his passport with the visa stapled in it?
Thanks.

Re: Entry process at Heathrow
No idea about Heathrow but when I entered through Manchester on my spouse visa they asked me the purpose of my visit, then after I explained I was on a spouse visa they had a good look at that and that was it.

This will be the universal experience. I would also highly recommend going to a desk and getting your visa stamped even if the passport gate is an option else it will be difficult to prove your date of arrival in future and you’ll need evidence of that for FLR/ILR.
