Default Daughter citizenship

My daughter was born in Canada but I'm English, is it just a case of applying for a passport from the UK for her?
I am starting a spousal application and have been offered 20k this is enough to sponsor the wife but not wife and child so I want her citizenship before the application is started.

any clues?

Were you born in the UK, or are you British because one of your parents is British?

If you were born in the UK then your daughter is already British, and was at birth, so all you need for her is a British passport - she doesn't need to be sponsored.

If you are currently/ already employed in Canada earning at least £18,600 then a job offer in the UK, paying at least £18,600 will be enough to support a visa application for your wife.

Doncaster meself, moved to Canada a while back married and child and heading home, maybe not to Donny though I have become to accustomed to not peering out of windows wondering if garage is locked every time a Ford transit drives by.
