Claiming tax credits while husband is living in Australia.
I have just returned to UK with our 3 year old son. My husband is still in Australia awaiting our qualification for the financial requirement. (I start work within the next couple of weeks, and after 6 months we will be applying for his visa). I have been looking at what benefits I may be entitled to, to help cover the costs of childcare etc. And also tax credits. Does anyone have personal experience of this?? TIA.

You need to apply to your local benefits office to see what you are eligible for.
It will depend on what you are earning, where you live, whether you have dependents etc.
