Default Child Visa Query

Hello, So this is the router me and my wife are going to try take, I will head to the UK on a ancestral visa first for about 3 to 6 months and get accommodation sorted and so forth.
Now the decision we need to make if for our children's visa's. I will be there on Ancestral visa and my wife is British by Descent.
If my wife had to arrange a Job for her self before she arrived in the UK, Which would be the best visa options for our Children and the quickest route to get them Citizenship ?
If I was already working in the UK for 3 or 6 months and then my wife comes with a Job arranged could the Children
Just apply for indefinite leave to remain as my wife is British ?

Why not just apply for Ancestry dependent visas for your children?

Would seem a lot easier than your wife having to 'sponsor' them, if that is what you are thinking about with regard your wife having to get a job.

Come over together. If you leave a six month gap you’ll be left to extend your children’s dependant visas to cover the shortfall before they can apply for ILR.

Would they not be able to register as UK citizens after being in the UK for 3 years as their month is British by descent ? and she will be with us in the UK as well ?

As I understand it, if they come in as Ancestry dependents they will get ILR after living in UK for 5 years - then they can apply for naturalisation.

Registering your children under Section 3(5) is certainly an option if you’d rather make separate applications for them rather than including them on your naturalisation application.
