Default Bank Statements

Hi. I've just gotten off the phone with my bank (First Direct) and they've told me that they do not stamp statements and that the copies sent out each month are the official enough. I'm paperless so I have to order them in, but was told that I could also print them out via online banking. They also said its possible to have a solicitor stamp them, has anyone done this?

Can someone please help me with what is acceptable for bank statements? Thanks!

I ordered official statements from my bank when i did it just in case so there was no doubt, i have heard of printed copies being accepted before but i wouldnt risk that without a official bank stamp on them.
Safest will be to order official paper statements, they shouldnt take long to come in post, mine arrived in a few days.
