Hello,
I’ve been trying to figure out whether it’s possible for adult children to register under Section 4L, if one of their parents was recently able to do the same, and became British ‘otherwise than by descent’ as a result. Effectively inheriting citizenship from their great-grandparent.
I understand this is already possible for minor children of such individuals - it therefore seems somewhat unreasonable that adult children wouldn’t be able to do the same. Perhaps ironically even verging on age discrimination? I may be missing something very basic here, which explains why it wouldn’t be possible for adults, but it would be good to hear people’s opinions and to see if any successful claims have been submitted by Sable and the like to date.
This is the link regarding children:

Thanks in advance!
