Hello, I have just joined your forum and it is full of great information, so I wondered if anyone could give me some advice please?
I am a professional singer and vocal coach in London. I would like to move to Hong Kong, as I have some close friends there, but I would like to get a residency in a members club or decent hotel as a singer. I also teach singing and provide vocal training to executives (improve public speaking and presentations).
Does anyone have any contacts or leads for promoters or booking agents please, and do you think I would get work teaching singing?
Many thanks, Betty

I am a British National and I have just emailed the immigration department to find out what sort of visa I need, as some countries allow you an Artist/Performer Visa without a company sponsorship, however I believe I will need a full working visa supplied by a venue or booking agent.
I will be tefl qualified soon, so will be looking for singing teaching work in a school or drama college.
Many thanks
