Hong Kong Working Holiday Visa - insurance
Hi all!
I'm planning to apply for the working holiday visa, but am not sure what to do with regards to the part about "he/she agrees to hold medical, healthcare (including hospitalisation), repatriation and liability insurance to remain in force throughout his/her stay in the HKSAR".
Does "agree" literally mean send a written and signed note to say I agree to purchase insurance before going to Hong Kong? Or do I need to buy the insurance first and send proof of purchase?
And help would be very much appreciated!

Guidance Notes on Working Holiday Scheme | Working Holiday Scheme | Hong Kong Visas | Public Services | Immigration Department
Note 5 will tell you the different health insurance requirements depended on which country you are from.

Did you find out if you need to purchase insurance prior to applying for your visa, or is a signed declaration of intent sufficient?
I have been considering applying for a HK visa and I also thought the wording was not clear.
