Thanks TandD2017, you're right, the school situation is really important to us. And on that note, I read the post in your local paper regarding the lack of school places and the increasing segregation of private vs public school students which sounds a little dangerous from a stable societal point of view.
Yup - It is paradise in some ways here but in others it is very different to the UK (possibly a good thing most times such as no trading on a Sunday). Speak to the schools sooner rather than later but I know for a fact the school that is considered best on island has no places. It also depends if you are Catholic.or not as there is a Catholic school here that may/may not have places

It's worth mentioning, just in passing, that the Prep (primary) classes and the High (secondary) classes are at different sites, a couple of miles apart. Also, being generally regarded as the best school in Cayman, it may already be full for the next term.
