Retiring from the UK to Jamaica
I am looking at some options for later life. I am a single male, early forties, Black Caribbean & I am considering about retiring in Jamaica so I am not interested in working, making money or living in one of the two big cities, I am however more interested in a small house or a gated community in or around the St Ann's area not far from the coast. I was born in the UK but my parents are from Jamaica, I have been there about three times but only as a tourist. I kind of know about the current politics & I have seen the worst and best of what the island has to offer. (To be honest with you I am not interested in politics), just need somewhere warm to have a low key life. i do have the majority of my family their so I am sure I won't get lonely! Has anyone done this & had any regrets or glad they done the move?

Word of caution: Life can be very nice in Jamaica only if you have the funds!!
