Hi been in Ontario for 3 months now.
You can expect homesickness just little things you miss from back home maybe family, friends even food lol.
Iv had maybe 4 days homesickness just bad days at work and missing little things also a death in the family.
The way I get around it is, I think what has the UK got for me "NOTHING" no job security terrible weather and its getting worse.
Where as Canada has good weather better job situation and a better place for my kids.
