There have been rumours of a new owner for zoom for a couple of weeks now.
Geting creditor protection is a good thing from the point of the view of the passengers in the mean time. It will mean that the leasing company will have to release the planes back to them for a start.

Mrs_P's cousin and his wife were supposed to be on the flight from Gatwick to Vancouver today, I see from the Gatwick departures board that the flight is "delayed".

I hope they can get another flight somehow.

Is anyone else having problems with the website?

I get the welcome screen with the different countries, I click on each of them and just stay on the same page. Doesn't look too good.

Oh heck! I've booked a ticket for my daughter to fly over with Zoom for Christmas. She can't go on Canadian Affair as they don't accept passengers under 16 travelling alone.

She's so looking forward to coming over, and so am I. I really hope they manage to sort all this out!

The website was working about an hour ago, was looking at flights for my parents to come over at Easter next year................its been taken down very quickly.

My MIL is booked to fly with them in November, if they go bell up would she get her money back?

If you paid by credit card you should be able to get a refund from the CC company.

Looks like their site is down. Could just be overload on the server. A friend who is going out of YVR today was told YVR to LGW was still going. Guess we'll see later.
