Zoom 2 for 1 offer!
#1
Not sure if anyone is aware but Zoom is offering, in conjunction with the Daily Mail, 2 for the price of 1 on flights between April 21st and June 17th 2006 to various destinations across Canada. Flights have to be booked before April 30th. All you have to do is ring 0870 240 0055 quoting 'Daily Mail 2 for 1 offer'
O.H. has to become 'Landed' before May 10th and we have just booked return flights for both of us, from Manchester to T.O for £280 in total!!!!!! Air Canada wanted over £1200, so hey do the math.
Just thought this may be helpful to people wanting to book flights.
Happy landings

I suppose we were just lucky. I hadn't seen it s I don't read the Mail. It was my brother who pointed it out to me. Still can't believe we got them so cheap. Works out at £140 each

Do you know if that offer is from uk only or do u think that it can be done from this side and does it have to be a return??
Also for anyone in uk, daily record had an offer through canadian affair which runs out on weds flights from 199. My sister is flying to Toronto august 14 with hubby and that is what they paid. We seem to have a lack of direct flights coming and going here in Calgary.

I'm flying to Newfoundland in Aug and I know that Zoom don't fly there direct but would be interested in prices to Toronto and possibly flying shuttle to St Johns plus were planning trip to Calgary early next year.
Thanks

I have just got the most wicked offer and still pinching myself. Quoted £2,800 Air Canada to fly from Heathrow to St Johns, Newfoundland in Aug - this goes up on a virtual daily basis at the moment. A friend gave me a webside to see if that helped my search - check it out!
www.moneysavingexpert.com
or
www.Opodo.com
Through their flight checker got onto a site called Opodo.com and giving same dates etc. were quoted £1,600 flying with BMI. Could'n't stop myself had to buy at that price. I do hope BMI are alright though as I hanven't heard that much about them. Anyone who has used them in past would be interested on your views.

Sounds to me like AC are ripping people off. I phoned AC to try and negotiate flights as one day prices were £411 then two days later went up to £589 not incl. taxes. They were no help at all and said prices dependent on how many seats they sell - more they sell prices do up and could change within 24 hr period.
I visited St Johns, Nfld airport site to see which incoming flights they had and it seems AC and BMI are stated as different incoming flights. But you may ne right. Have flown AC before although not pleasant experience as flying on own with tiny baby trying to breastfeed in the centre aisle with great fat chap next to me who took up some of my room. Had basinet but every little bit of turbulence was told to take him out. Chap next to me not too happy with things either. That was 12 1/2 years ago so maybe things have changed a bit.
