Right - and it's a balancing act that has a different answer for different people. If you need to work, then you obviously need to be able to find a job. But when other criteria are considered (e.g. geography, climate, lifestyle, cost of living, etc) then it's not always simply a case of following the work/money.

You seem to be obsessed with this comparison, I don't know why but my personal view is that Calgary is the best place to live in western Canada and Ottawa is the best place to live in eastern Canada. There is more between Nova Scotia and BC than just Toronto.
