Default Work Permit Refused - Monday back?

If your WP is refused (and I guess I know the answer already....lol) do they get to keep the $150 WP fee or return it to you?

Your spell checker was set to auto replace when you wrote the title, wasn't it?

I've no idea, but should imagine that the fees are for the processing, not the result. In other words, no, I can't see you getting your money back....

Why has it been refused? Do you happen to know or not.

Sorry to hear this.

Depends on the reason. We'd applied for an extension on both our work permits as we hadn't heard about our PR (had our medicals beginning of October, permits ran out in december). However our passport request came in a couple weeks later, and we got a letter from the work permit dept. saying as we no longer needed an extension they wouldn't proceed with the application, and we would get a refund in about 6 weeks. Refund came 2 days later!
