Found this nice site - http://www.nationalbeardregistry.org/ - beardies are encouraged to register there. Is that so they can be rounded up more easily?
Edit: Quality, they put "Jesus" next to "Uncle Jesse" from The Dukes of Hazzard.

My brother once grew one and got a shock as it was ginger, and he's got dark brown hair. We had a right laugh at him for months, so beards aren't all bad
