Default Winter Flights

Hi there. Does anyone know if there are any airlines that fly from Manchester UK to Toronto during the winter, specifically December time? As far as I can tell Zoom, Canadian Affair and Air Transat are only summer flights. Can anyone please help?

Thanks

You'll probably have to go scheduled as almost all the charter flights run in the summer. Not sure if a few do ones for winter type holidays but your dates would be very limited. Trouble with Scheduled is they'll be more expensive than chartered, especially if you are too close to a holiday like Christmas, also very busy. Air Canada flies direct from Manchester to Toronto, BA does sometimes or it shuttles you from manchester to Heathrow and then flies you direct to toronto. Otherwise it's all connections. Most airlines fly via their national hub. So if you fly Air France you will go Manchester->Paris->Toronto, if you fly KLM you will go Manchester->Amsterdam->Toronto. or you could pick a US one: US Airways is Manchester->Philadelphia->Toronto, American Airlines is Manchester->Chicago->Toronto Continental is Manchester-Newark->Toronto.

I've flown all of those in winter when I used to go from Manchester when I was at university to visit my wife in Canada. Usually paid between 300-500 pounds depending on the timing.
