Re: William and Kate on tour

I've noticed that people this year have been saying to me that so and so is coming to stay with them during the Stampede, which is unusual because it's usually more: I'm going away to get away from the bedlam. Last year the weather was grim as well.

The expansion plan won't be finished until 2014 so it's going to be rammed+ I reckon.

Get a feel for it when you see how many people show up on Prince's Island on Canada Day.

I made some proper posh cucumber sandwiches the other week. You have to salt the cucumber first and slice the crusts off. It's a lot of faff for not much nutrition, but they were quite tasty.

Oooh, they're going to be in Calgary for 21 whole hours.

Basically the only way you will see them is if you live downtown or stick it out overnight to get a decent spot on the parade route I reckon.

I think I'll watch it on TV.

Somehow I doubt they're going to stay in the NWT the whole of July 6th.

I have a feeling they're going to Banff.
