A tranformer will get them to work by stepping them up from 110v to 220v

Will an employer even allow you on site with Uk tools, not likely (unless they are CSA approved)

We brought most of our electrical stuff including tools and ordered converters at www.voltageconverters.com.

Everything works ok.

If you decide to use over here on any construction site. You will need to ensure that your tools are CSA ULc approved you will need a safety isolating step up transformer which is CSA ULc approved. Should the equipment not be approved for use here and it causes shock or fire you will be held personally liable for any resulting injury / damage.

Do yourself a big favour leave them in the UK, power tools in Canada are cheap.
