It's getting on for midnight now and here I am again. Maybe the past 2.5 years of stress and uncertainty have made me just plain bonkers
Seriously though, it's caught up with me a bit now, feeling a bit tired
We've had such great weather for the past few days I've wanted to make the most of it. You know what the British summers are like, here today, gone tomorrow!

Ahh the beach One thing I miss. I'm a surfer and used to go most weekends as North Devon/Cornwall/Wales was only an hour and a bit drive. Could be a while before we see one again unless we go to Vancouver.

I think (eventually) I will miss the beach, but not for a while those mountains are just too awesome.

Re: What's with this place?
Trouble is more often than not you want to contribute some useful information, but discover that you probably realized the same question was answered over again and again and again, so you end up trying to be witty (emphasis on Trying....) as an old-bie, the newbies don't get it/think old-bies are weird, walk off, old-bies get tired of answering same questions. Then there is all the sub-forums. Sure, the banter should go in the lounge or wherever, but if you so as much mention immigration in the culture forum you're likely to be shot down in flames, and so on.... it's the same old same old done in a thousand different internet forums.
just my cheesy 2c.
oh, and.....
cock.
well they didn't use that word in bad 60's sitcoms, did they????

I've made over 460 posts since 2004, non of them have been interesting? Cool, that's gotta be a record eh?
I really don't have a problem with anyone on here, the friendly banter is sometimes hillarious. When the beaver/cock/fanny/pussy jokes (Hu hu hu he said Cock ) first started it was very funny. But after the first 500 times it wears a bit thin.
I realise that this might sound like a boreing old git, I'm not, but someone had to say it.
A place (like the Ozzie one) where you can hang out and talk about penis's though is a great idea
