It's very much like Luton. Brampton is a good place to get a curry but it consists of factories, warehouses and featureless housing estates and has a high crime rate. It's convenient for the airport though noisy in consequence. I can see moving to Brampton if you now live in Chalk Hill or Grahame Park or, indeed, in Luton, but otherwise it's hard to imagine that moving there can be other than a step down. I'd also look askance at a move to Rexdale or the less attractive parts of Scarborough.

Comments noted with thanks. Mind you the only time I have had to go to Luton was to buy a car, however, I can get currys closer to home.

We can get excellent Indian food delivered but it depends on your location; Toronto's very ghettoized.

Main reason for moving there is my cousins live out there. So makes sense for me to move near where they are. I got to be honest I have been to Luton and stayed in brampton canada a few times. There nothing like each other lol. Brampton like most of canada is clean with lots of space and friendly people. I did not find it rough or come across any problems what so ever when I was out there. Also its not to Far from Downtown City. I agree that alot of warehouses in some parts. Dont get me wrong Luton is not really bad but I just dont see how they are comparable.

They're both run down satellite towns with very much light industry and undistinguished housing stock consisting of estates/subdivisions. They both have largely immigrant populations. They are both considered high crime areas relative to the cities to which they are peripheral. If you think Luton a harsh comparand how about Slough?

Rural or urban ? If you go north to Palgrave/Schomberg it's nice in a country kind of way, if you want urban and attractive you have to come in a long way, perhaps to High Park, the area around the airport is all a bit of a wasteland (as it is in most cities).
