I suggest that you close the windows and turn off the air conditioning.

High of -5, -11 with windchill, with some light snow. Freezing rain forecast overnight. Lovely. I'd rather have -34 than freezing rain. Still, everything is very pretty once its done:)

Sure beats the perpetual grey skies and rain or dampness that I experienced in Lancashire. |

We're forecast freezing rain tonight too, I haven't experienced that yet but it doesn't sound too good. One other question, we had a very thin layer of ice on the inside of the windscreen today, is this just the moisture in the air of the interior of the car or should I be taking a trip to the garage again? Thanks |

This pic was from driving home from work last night in my neighbourhood, you can see how cold it is, even from the inside of the car, and all the snow on the floor. Rain is predicted for today ( Tuesday )

He wasn't happy with the outfit I had on already. He gave me a shot of rye and that really did the trick. Wonder if I could use that to knock out the kids? :D |
Re: What is the temperature in your area?
No, save the good stuff for yourself and give the children Gravol. :)

Re: What is the temperature in your area?
Its 10.13 am here and its a balmy 21 below. I have a 3 month old shih-tzu puppy and I have to admit that I have resorted to putting him on a long leash and letting him "go" on the deck so I don't have to go out with him. He goes out - I stay inside and hold the leash. He hasn't yet figured out how to get down the steps to the garden.
I guess I'd better get out there with a plastic bag and pick up the frozen dumps! |
Re: What is the temperature in your area?
And that does bode well in the man's mental image department, when one considers the alternative. Er, if I may say so. :o

[QUOTE=Velouria]lol i spent the better part of last night with my gloves on! but then my hands are *always* cold
My hands and feet are cold all the time, so my husband is used as a heating pad to get and keep them warm. We are actually having some sunshine right now - unbelieveable - wish it would warm up a bit or l'll have to bring out the thermal underwear again. :D |
