My Bad News post has disappeared

Start again, my husband was refused a work permit throught Bunac because we have a 2 year old daughter, even thou he checked with them before he sent the application off

We decided to try the PNP way, since my husbands occupation (IT) is in demand in Alberta & British Columbia.

Has anyone done it this way?

Why would it be refused because you have a daughter?

**** knows, I think Canadian immigration probably thought we were going to take the pee.

I more miffed with Bunac though, as my husband asked a couple of times if it was ok and they said yes.

Seriously? Doesnt seem to tie in with real world experience posted here for the last 2 years! We keep hearing how hard it is to A: Get a decent paying IT job anywhere,and B: Get a decent paying job of any kind in BC.

Sorry if I have missed something, but, what or who is Bunac?
I am still very confused as to what difference it makes if you have children.

They obviously only cater for young people without children.

Thats what it is! I was thinking it was to do with immigrations!!!

I would have a read through past posts if I were you, as iaink quoted there never seems to be a demand for IT, not reading this site! Sorry to be so negitive

Apparently this a fairly recent rule for people that apply through Bunac.
